The main purpose of mood boarding is to come up with the main theme in terms of aesthetics and maintaining the same theme throughout the video. Mood boarding gives a sense of vision as to how the video is supposed to turn out, at times its quite difficult to express the aesthetics of a video, mood board solves that problem by exhibiting visually. Color palette is one of the key elements when mood boarding. A color palette is a combination of 2 or more colors having relatively similar tones and intensity, to come up with a perfect palette to express the desirable mood. The color palette can then be used to search images carrying the same combination of colors in order to generate ideas for the overall mood board.

Moving on, integrating the right filters and visual effects, according to the color pallet is essential to maintain the color pallet, that was selected.
